Secret project – Cafe Memoria

I am happy to announce the name of the secret project in the works: Cafe Memoria!

What is it?

“Cafe Memoria” is a small (and free) visual novel where you play the role of a male customer entering a restaurant, eponymously named “Cafe Memoria”, and sees his female friends working there as waitresses. Interact with them by ordering various food items from the menu. At the end of the day you can rate how well she did serving you – you can choose to rate her highly, in-between, or even poorly.

Story

Cafe Memoria is a new restaurant in town, run and operated by Anna and her mother. You, as the male protagonist, are curious about this restaurant and decide to eat out there. As you enter, you are greeted by a pretty waitress…

Features

• Unlockable routes – Anna, Mikaela, Tristina, Aurelia, Julia. You play Anna’s route first, once you complete it then Mikaela’s is unlocked, and so on, up until Julia’s
• Various food items to choose from – breakfast, lunch, dinner items
• Rate your waitress – rate her highly or even poorly
• Uses Ren’Py as the engine!

Other stuff

I have much of the script done, although it’s still in the rough draft phase. I will start recruiting voice actresses once it’s polished up and such. As for the artist? Well, I think it’s going to be a surprise…

Just so you guys know, my main VN project, “Memoria” is going to be on hiatus for a bit as I work on “Cafe Memoria.” I’ll still be working on assets like music and such as well (the two VNs will share the same music).

No set release date yet for “Cafe Memoria,” but I hope around… maybe June or before.
