I’ve started reworking this project around September, beginning with updating the BG art. While using stock photographs and filtering them can be nice for VN projects on a budget, I prefer to have original visual assets. These got done pretty quick (~a month for all BGs), I was expecting it to take at least two months to finish – but hey, not going to complain. 🙂

As for Natalia’s voice acting, I guess it’s no surprise that everything’s recorded within a week of hiring my VA. But I think the quality of the recordings is just right, making Natalia’s personality come to life. I hope you all enjoy her cheerful holiday voice!

Do let me know what you think! Any comments and or suggestions are welcome! I hope you enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed putting this VN together! Spread the holiday cheer! 🙂

As we’re bringing another year to a close, I’d like to thank you all once again for your support. This year was pretty productive, no? I mean, we saw the release of the CMD demo, had a little special 10th anniversary thing going on, and of course v2.0 of AWCG.

Plans for next year? Of course, I’ll still be working on CMD. In addition, I’ve been drafting another side project as of late – the idea sort of popped up and I think I want to flesh it out some more. I’ll post more about it once I get a chunk of it done!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Hope you folks stick around, and here’s to another year!

I really enjoyed the challenge of compiling this within a short amount of time. As it’s been a long while since the release of my previous project, the first Café Memoria, this gave me a refresher in completing projects. And I felt that one of my many great VN ideas were going to waste; I just had to develop it and see it come alive – the CGs make it more so 🙂

Remember my January 2018 post, stating my goal is to release something before the end of the year? Well, promise fulfilled, just in time! Yeah, it could’ve been a CMD demo, but progress is sloooow (due to factors beyond my control).

I regret being unable to get a voice actress for Natalia, due to time constraints. I’ve considered hiring one a week before release, but I already had too much to do to make a Christmas Eve release possible. Maybe, just maybe, for next year’s Christmas I’ll hire one and make a uh, re-release ^_^

Another regret is the lack of artwork of the male protagonist, Rudolf, for the same reasons as above.

But no regrets in making and releasing this. It’s a joy spreading holiday cheer through this VN! I hope you enjoy playing this as much as I did making it! Let me know what you think about it in the comments (Natalia would love to hear them!). 🙂

Again, thanks for following me, hope you guys stick around for next projects – especially when it comes time to release the CMD demo 😀

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

It’s been years since releasing my previous VN, Final Week. Café Memoria helped me gain experience in VN creation, as my other project, Memoria, has stalled indefinitely. I have learned quite a bit in the creation of Café Memoria – learning to work with others, learning to be patient with them, overcoming many challenges and unforeseen problems, and learning to have fun doing something you enjoy. 🙂

Yes, this project was a joy to work on. I’ve met so many people helping me with this project: editors, the artist, the voice actresses, and whatnot. They helped make this project possible. And because of the positive experience gained I’m likely to hire them again for future projects.

Now that’s released, I think I’m going to take it a step further in future projects. Fundraise my next project? Go commercial? It’s possible! I’m going to take it a bit at a time in these next projects, so that when Memoria comes out of hiatus I have the experience necessary to finish it (keep in mind – Memoria is a pretty large project).

Let me know what you think of Café Memoria in the comments. Who’s your favorite character? Any constructive criticism? Thanks again for following me, hope you guys stick around for next projects!

Best wishes and have fun!
